Marci + Tidehunter

Why this works

Seeing this duo, you might expect every fight to start with a five-man Ravage. It's often the other way around. Marci is great at isolating an enemy hero with Dispose, tossing them right to Tidehunter for an easy Gush and follow-up. This small-scale pickoff potential is the real strength here. It forces the enemy team to play close together for safety, which ironically makes them better targets for Tidehunter's ultimate when a real teamfight breaks out. The setup works both ways, but Marci often finds the initial opening.

As the game progresses, they form a very durable frontline. Tidehunter can confidently walk forward, knowing Marci has a perfect Rebound target to dive the back lines. If Marci gets caught while being aggressive, Tidehunter is one of the best heroes for a save, either with a clutch Ravage or by using Anchor Smash to cripple the damage of anyone hitting her. This gives Marci a safety net to take risks and find openings. The enemy has to respect the threat of the full combo, giving your team control of the fight's tempo.
