Mirana + Pangolier

Why this works

Setting up a max-range Sacred Arrow can be tricky with a Pangolier on your team. The core problem is that his whole kit is about movement and disruption. When Pangolier uses Rolling Thunder, he sends enemies bouncing in unpredictable directions, making it almost impossible for Mirana to land a clean shot. His other spells also involve repositioning himself and can slightly displace enemies, which is the opposite of the lockdown she needs to guarantee her stun. He creates chaos, but it's a kind of chaos that often works against her.

As a result, the two heroes can feel like they're playing separate games within the same fight. Mirana is often forced to hold her arrow or use it from short range, diminishing its impact. For this pairing to work, they have to largely ignore trying to set up combos. Pangolier can roll in and cause a distraction, and Mirana can use Leap to find a safe angle to contribute damage with Starstorm and right-clicks. They don't actively step on each other's toes, but their abilities don't offer much to help each other either.
