Mirana + Puck

Why this works

Setting up a Sacred Arrow with Dream Coil sounds effective on paper, but in practice their kits often overlap more than they help. Both Puck and Mirana want to be the one initiating with their own spell combinations. When one hero uses their full set of spells to set up a kill, the other's contribution can feel redundant. They both offer a similar flavor of elusive, front-loaded magic damage, meaning they don't cover each other's weaknesses. Instead of creating a new angle of attack, they end up trying to do the same job from slightly different positions.

This dynamic plays out across the game. A successful Dream Coil can guarantee an Arrow hits, but it also means Mirana isn't using the spell from its preferred long range. In teamfights, while Moonlight Shadow can help Puck find a good initiation, their combined impact is heavily reliant on that initial burst. If the enemy survives the opening salvo of a Waning Rift and Starstorm, both heroes can be left vulnerable. They struggle to provide the sustained damage or control needed to win a longer engagement once their primary spells are on cooldown.
