Mirana + Slark

Why this works

Setting up a kill with these two seems simple, but the real strength isn't always the obvious play. A long-range Sacred Arrow into an easy Pounce is a classic gank, giving Slark a guaranteed leash to start building Essence Shift stacks on a target. However, the more consistent advantage comes from Mirana’s Moonlight Shadow. Granting team-wide invisibility lets Slark move across open parts of the map to find a target without relying on his own ultimate’s passive. This lets him save Shadow Dance for the fight itself, either to engage or to disengage after securing a kill.

This pairing is strongest when looking for pickoffs in the early and mid-game. Mirana can set up kills from the fog, allowing Slark to snowball from a successful gank. They create a lot of map pressure by threatening anyone who tries to farm a lane alone. The plan can fall apart if the enemy team groups as five early. Both heroes excel at punishing isolated targets, but they can struggle in a full teamfight if they can't secure that initial kill. Their effectiveness depends heavily on the enemy's willingness to split up.
