Mirana + Sven

Why this works

Finding a pickoff from long range is the main idea here. The combo is straightforward: Mirana lands a max-range Sacred Arrow, and Sven follows up with Storm Hammer to chain-stun a target for a very long time. This provides an easy kill for Sven, especially once he has some damage items. The setup can also come from Moonlight Shadow, letting Sven walk up to a target unseen and initiate himself. The whole plan relies on hitting the arrow, though, which is never a guarantee. Sven also needs his Blink Dagger to consistently follow up on arrows that don't land at the perfect range.

During the mid-game, a successful gank from this duo can create a lot of pressure, securing objectives or allowing Sven to farm more aggressively. The game often hinges on whether Mirana and Sven can get that early momentum. Opponents will try to counter this by grouping as five or by establishing deep vision to spot the gank attempts before they happen. If the combo fails to connect a few times, the window of opportunity can close, leaving Sven behind on farm and Mirana with less impact as the game goes later.
