Mirana + Weaver

Why this works

Trying to secure kills with this pair is a problem, as the team’s entire lockdown is often tied to landing a single Sacred Arrow. A core Weaver and a core Mirana also put a strain on the map’s resources, as both heroes need a significant amount of farm to be effective. Their kits lack a way to reliably set each other up; Weaver’s evasiveness doesn't help Mirana land her stun, and a long-range Arrow doesn't guarantee Weaver is in position to follow up with damage. They both offer mobility and slipperiness, but neither provides the hard control the other needs to confirm kills.

This forces the duo into a difficult position during the mid-game. They want to play at a fast tempo and get pickoffs, but without a reliable stun, they can’t dictate fights. The enemy team can often split up and farm more freely, knowing that as long as they dodge the arrow, they are relatively safe from being locked down and burst. To compensate, the Mirana and Weaver team must rely heavily on their other allies to provide all of the initiation and control, which can make the draft predictable and easy to counter.
