Morphling + Tidehunter

Why this works

Pairing a big teamfight initiator with a single-target carry often creates a timing mismatch. Tidehunter excels at locking down multiple heroes with Ravage, creating a massive window for his team to act. The issue is that Morphling is built to assassinate one hero at a time. During that huge stun, he can usually only eliminate a single target. Tidehunter himself provides control and durability but doesn't add significant burst damage to help Morphling secure that crucial first kill before the enemy team can recover.

This dynamic can lead to awkward teamfights. Tidehunter might land a perfect ultimate, but if the enemy team can use a save on the hero Morphling goes on, the advantage is often lost. The rest of the enemy team recovers while Morphling is still committed to his initial target. While any stun is helpful, Morphling typically gets more value from heroes who can help him isolate and burst one person down rather than from a wide area-of-effect setup. The result isn't a disaster, but it feels less efficient than pairing either hero with a more natural partner.
