Muerta + Ogre Magi

Why this works

Giving Muerta a permanent Bloodlust is a straightforward way to boost her damage. She's a hero who wants to get as many attacks as possible, especially during Pierce the Veil, and Ogre Magi provides the raw attack speed for it. In the lane, Ogre's stun and slow can set up some kills, allowing Muerta to apply pressure with her empowered right-clicks. The combination is simple: Ogre makes Muerta hit faster, and she uses that speed to accelerate her farm and contribute more damage in early fights. It’s a direct buff that helps her core game plan.

The pairing's main weakness is a lack of defensive utility. While Ogre Magi is tanky, he doesn't offer much to keep Muerta alive if she gets jumped by multiple heroes. His single-target Fireblast is often not enough peel. The duo relies on being aggressive and getting ahead, because if the enemy team can get on top of Muerta, the Ogre can't do much to save her. This leaves Muerta responsible for her own survival, making the offensive boost from Bloodlust feel conditional on the state of the game and enemy draft.
