Muerta + Windranger

Why this works

Trying to secure a kill often feels clumsy with this pairing. Windranger needs a reliable anchor for her Shackleshot, and Muerta doesn't provide the kind of lockdown or frontline presence to make that easy. Both heroes want to be the primary target of enemy spells, but neither is great at creating space or initiating for the other. They end up competing for the same farm priority and role in a teamfight, which is to stand back and deal single-target damage. This overlap leaves the draft feeling fragile and without a solid frontline to play around.

As the game goes on, this lack of a core initiator or tank becomes a serious problem. The enemy team can often split their focus between Muerta and Windranger, as they share similar weaknesses to magic burst and control. Your team will struggle to start fights on its own terms, waiting for a mistake rather than forcing one. Without someone to soak up damage and draw attention, both heroes are more easily zoned or picked off before they can unload their full damage, especially during their key ultimate timings.
