How Naga Siren and Venomancer perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Naga Siren and Venomancer win 47.37% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 5,495 matches.
Facing down a Poison Nova feels bad, and a Naga Siren using Song of the Siren to guarantee her team's positioning should make it worse. The core issue is that Song makes enemies invulnerable, completely pausing all of Venomancer's damage over time while it's active. This clash forces a choice: either you get the perfect setup from Naga's ultimate, or you get Venomancer's full damage, but you can't have both. While an Ensnare can hold a single target in place for the poison to melt them, the big teamfight-winning ultimates actively cancel each other out. This makes their combined impact in a major fight feel much less than the sum of its parts.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
