Necrophos + Omniknight

Why this works

A silenced or stunned Necrophos is usually a dead one, but Omniknight's Heavenly Grace provides the perfect answer with its strong dispel. This lets Necrophos consistently apply pressure with Heartstopper Aura and Death Pulse. The protection goes further with Guardian Angel, which completely negates the physical burst that enemies often rely on to bring him down. Purification adds another layer of burst healing, making it incredibly difficult to focus and kill the Necrophos as long as Omniknight is nearby to react. This defensive backbone lets Necrophos play much more aggressively than he otherwise could.

This pairing creates a durable frontline that forces objectives and dares the enemy to commit. The game plan revolves around Necrophos drawing attention, surviving the initial assault thanks to Omniknight's saves, and then turning the fight with a well-placed Reaper's Scythe. Opponents need to either burst down Omniknight before he can use his spells or have enough sustained magical damage to overwhelm the healing. Splitting the pair up is also effective, as their strength lies in their ability to react to each other in close-quarters teamfights.
