Necrophos + Ringmaster

Why this works

Being slowly dragged towards a Necrophos is a very uncomfortable position to be in. Ringmaster's crowd control excels at pulling one or more enemies into a tight spot, which is exactly where Necrophos wants them. Once grouped up, targets are trapped inside Heartstopper Aura, taking constant damage that softens them up for both Death Pulse and an eventual Reaper's Scythe. Ringmaster's tools create a predictable kill zone, and Necrophos is the perfect hero to capitalize on enemies who are held in place and unable to escape the constant drain on their health.

This pairing relies heavily on landing that initial setup. If Ringmaster's abilities are dodged or the enemy team is too spread out, the entire plan can fall apart. Opponents will quickly learn to play around the threat, bringing save items or focusing Ringmaster before he can get his spells off. The game often becomes a question of whether the duo can successfully execute their main combo. If they land it, they can secure key kills and take objectives. If the enemy outmaneuvers them, both heroes can be left feeling ineffective.
