Committing to this duo often creates a conflict in how your team wants to fight. Tiny's entire game revolves around his Avalanche and Toss combo, which delivers massive, front-loaded burst damage to delete a single hero. He wants fights to be fast and decisive. Necrophos, on the other hand, excels in prolonged engagements where Heartstopper Aura can drain enemies and he can sustain his team with Death Pulse. Their core tempos are fundamentally opposed; Tiny wants to end an encounter instantly, while Necrophos is built to outlast opponents over a much longer duration.

This friction means the two heroes rarely feel like they're working together. A successful Toss from Tiny might secure a pickoff, but it can leave Necrophos out of position or without a frontliner as the real fight begins. For the pairing to work, one hero usually has to compromise their ideal playstyle. Either Tiny forgoes his classic burst role to play more of a protective tank, or the team must constantly seek isolated targets where their damage can overlap.
