Shadow Fiend + Sven

Why this works

Farming the map can feel constrained when pairing these two heroes. Both Shadow Fiend and Sven are core heroes that rely on clearing jungle camps to accelerate their farm. Sven's Great Cleave and Shadow Fiend's Shadowraze are powerful farming tools, but they end up competing for the same stacks and jungle quadrants. This creates an economic conflict where one hero is often forced into less efficient parts of the map, slowing down crucial item timings. Their abilities don't offer much inherent synergy to offset this shared demand for resources; they largely exist as two separate, greedy damage dealers on the same team.

This strain on the map's economy often leaves the team feeling weak during the mid-game. Instead of having a single, powerful core ready to fight, the lineup can have two heroes who are both slightly behind where they need to be. For this duo to succeed, their teammates must create an exceptional amount of space against enemy pressure. In teamfights, their plans can also diverge. Sven wants to find a target with Storm Hammer and burst it during God's Strength, which doesn't necessarily provide the big setup that a game-winning Requiem of Souls from Shadow Fiend might need.
