Shadow Fiend + Vengeful Spirit

Why this works

Stacking armor reduction is the core of this pairing. Vengeful Spirit’s Wave of Terror combines with Shadow Fiend’s own Presence of the Dark Lord, making even tanky heroes feel fragile against his physical attacks. Vengeance Aura then adds another layer of raw damage on top of that, making every attack count. For securing kills, a simple Magic Missile is often enough lockdown for Shadow Fiend to land a full Shadowraze combo. This mix of damage amplification and reliable setup gives SF a much easier time converting his farm into pressure.

Throughout the game, Vengeful Spirit acts as both an enabler and a safety net. An aggressive Nether Swap can place Shadow Fiend in the perfect spot for a devastating Requiem of Souls, while a defensive Swap can pull him out of trouble after his Black King Bar has expired. This lets SF play more confidently than he otherwise could. Enemies are often forced to either try and burst the high-damage Shadow Fiend through Venge’s support, or focus her down first and risk getting torn apart by a free-hitting core in the process.
