When Night Stalker finds a victim at night, that long silence prevents them from using defensive items, blinking away, or stunning him in return. This creates a perfect, uncontested window for Outworld Destroyer to unload with Arcane Orb and follow up with Sanity's Eclipse on a target who is not only silenced but also has their mana pool drained, amplifying the ultimate's damage.

This duo hits a massive power spike in the mid-game. Once Night Stalker gets Dark Ascension, the entire map becomes a hunting ground. He can fly over terrain to initiate on a priority hero, and Outworld Destroyer can be ready to follow up instantly. The enemy team is forced into a difficult position: either they group up as five and concede map control, or they risk getting picked off one by one.
