Night Stalker + Wraith King

Why this works

Thinking you can focus one of these two down before they cause trouble is often a mistake. Wraith King's Reincarnation demands you kill him twice, and during the night, Night Stalker is one of the more durable heroes on the map. The real problem is their combined lockdown. A target hit by Wraithfire Blast is stunned long enough for Night Stalker to apply Crippling Fear. That long silence prevents escape spells or defensive items, leaving the victim helpless as both heroes tear them apart with right-clicks. It’s a simple but overwhelming offensive pair.

This pressure starts as soon as the first night falls. Night Stalker roams the map securing kills, which buys a tremendous amount of space for Wraith King to farm safely. Once they group up, their game plan is straightforward: use Dark Ascension to force a favorable fight, pick a key enemy, and delete them with their stun-and-silence combo. The opposition is forced to play defensively and group up to avoid getting picked off. If they can’t break this durable frontline before a core dies, the fight is usually lost.
