Night Stalker + Weaver

Why this works

Picking these two heroes together can leave a team feeling disjointed in fights. Night Stalker wants to dive deep during the night, using Crippling Fear to isolate and silence a key enemy. He creates a very clear "go" signal for his team to burst a target down. Weaver, on the other hand, excels at skirmishing from the outside. His kit is built around mobility and sustained damage with Shukuchi, not front-loading burst onto a single controlled hero. He doesn't offer the kind of immediate follow-up that makes Night Stalker's initiations truly deadly.

In practice, this means Night Stalker often finds himself initiating alone. While he has a target locked down, Weaver may be hitting a different enemy or repositioning for safety, unable to commit to the dive without risking his own life. This forces the Weaver player into an awkward spot: either play too aggressively and risk dying without using Time Lapse, or play his own game and leave Night Stalker without the focused damage he needs. The pairing can feel like two solo artists playing on the same stage rather than a coordinated duo.
