How Outworld Destroyer and Primal Beast perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Outworld Destroyer and Primal Beast win 50.18% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 11,553 matches.
Picking these two cores together often means accepting some awkward teamfights. The main issue is how their abilities can clash. Primal Beast wants to charge in and hold a single target down with Pulverize, but a friendly Astral Imprisonment from Outworld Destroyer can accidentally save that enemy from the entire channel. This forces the OD to be extremely careful with their spell, often making it harder to use as a setup or a save for another teammate. While both heroes can certainly focus and delete a single target if everything lines up, their toolkits don't have a natural rhythm and can easily work against each other in a chaotic engagement.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
