How Outworld Destroyer and Clockwerk perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Outworld Destroyer and Clockwerk win 52.46% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 17,711 matches.
Catching a hero with Hookshot and Cogs gives Outworld Destroyer a perfect stationary target. The trapped enemy is isolated, letting OD freely land Arcane Orbs without needing to chase or use his own Astral Imprisonment for setup. This long lockdown also creates a clean window to land Sanity's Eclipse on a priority hero. The main weakness of the pairing is that both heroes are focused on bursting a single person. If that initial pickoff fails, or if the enemy team is grouped and ready to counter-initiate, both Clockwerk and Outworld Destroyer can find themselves out of position with their biggest spells on cooldown. This makes the partnership effective for ganks but less reliable in messier teamfights.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
