Outworld Destroyer + Silencer

Why this works

Teamfights with both these heroes can look dominant on paper. A well-timed Global Silence can stop enemies from reacting to Outworld Destroyer's damage output or set up a clean Sanity's Eclipse. Both heroes also output a steady stream of pure damage from range, which can wear down even durable targets. The main issue is that they offer redundant strengths without covering each other's weaknesses. They both want to be artillery pieces, but neither provides the reliable stuns or lockdown needed to hold enemies in place for the other to connect their attacks.

This pairing often relies heavily on the rest of their team to provide a strong frontline and initiation. Without it, both Outworld Destroyer and Silencer can be vulnerable to being jumped on by mobile cores. An enemy team with good gap-close and physical burst can easily overwhelm them before they can get their spells off. While the damage potential is there, the lack of control means they can struggle to execute their game plan if the draft isn't built around solving that specific problem.
