How Outworld Destroyer and Treant Protector perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Outworld Destroyer and Treant Protector win 50.11% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 14,062 matches.
Pairing these two heroes creates a simple but effective dynamic. Treant Protector's job is to hold enemies in place with Overgrowth, giving Outworld Destroyer a window to freely apply Arcane Orb damage. This root is especially useful for locking down mobile targets that OD would otherwise struggle against. Beyond that one big combo, however, their kits don't have much special interaction. Living Armor provides some welcome sustain for a fragile core, but the success of this pairing depends more on executing that one teamfight sequence than on any deeper synergy. It's a reliable setup, but not one that fundamentally changes how either hero wants to play the game.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
