Outworld Destroyer + Warlock

Why this works

Trying to spread out against Warlock's spells is standard, but Fatal Bonds makes that difficult. When multiple heroes are linked, Outworld Destroyer's heavy single-target focus with Arcane Orb gets amplified, spreading pure damage to everyone caught in the bond. This teamfight can feel very constrained for the enemy team, especially if Warlock also uses Upheaval. The powerful, stacking slow makes it nearly impossible for anyone to escape OD's range, allowing him to easily stick on his preferred target and build up damage.

This pairing is heavily reliant on Warlock's long cooldowns, however. If an enemy team can force a fight while Chaotic Offering is unavailable, the synergy largely evaporates. Outworld Destroyer offers little to keep his slow-moving ally alive if Warlock is jumped, and OD's own Astral Imprisonment can be awkward, potentially saving an enemy from Warlock's spells if timed incorrectly. Success depends on Warlock landing a good setup, and the enemy team will do everything in its power to jump one of them before that happens.
