Ogre Magi + Pudge

Why this works

Picking these two heroes together is a bet on securing kills with single-target lockdown. An early Ignite from Ogre Magi can slow an enemy enough to set up an easier Meat Hook for Pudge. If the hook lands, Ogre can follow up with Fireblast to extend the disable chain, often guaranteeing a kill on a caught-out hero. Ogre can also buff Pudge with Bloodlust, and while Pudge isn't a primary right-clicker, the added attack speed helps him contribute more damage when he's not channeling his ultimate. This creates a simple but effective ganking partnership.

The game plan for this duo is to be active early and create pressure by finding pickoffs. However, their effectiveness can fall off if they can't secure an early advantage. Both heroes excel at locking down one enemy, but they offer very little wave clear or area-of-effect damage. Against teams that group up and push as five, or against lineups with good saves, the single-target focus of Pudge and Ogre Magi can become a liability. They end up relying heavily on their other three teammates to handle sieges and large-scale teamfights.
