Ogre Magi + Snapfire

Why this works

The idea of this double-fire support lane sounds better than it often is. While Ogre Magi can put Bloodlust on Snapfire, she's not a primary right-clicker who makes the most of it; she’d rather be casting her own spells. Their stuns can be layered for a decent lockdown duration, but both heroes are slow and need to get fairly close to start the chain. They don't really solve each other's core problems. Ogre Magi still has to lumber into range to be effective, and Snapfire is still looking for someone else to provide the setup needed for a perfect Mortimer Kisses.

In practice, the lane feels durable but lacks true kill threat against anyone with an escape. You have two tanky heroes who can trade hits, but they struggle to force the issue. Later on, their game plans can diverge. Snapfire wants to find a safe position in the back to use her ultimate, while Ogre is trying to run at the enemy frontline and get his multicasts off. They don't actively work against each other, and they can certainly function on the same team, but they don't combine to create much more than the sum of their parts.
