How Ogre Magi and Warlock perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Ogre Magi and Warlock win 53.04% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 32,160 matches.
A Multicast Bloodlust from Ogre Magi turns Warlock's Golem into a serious problem for the other team. The attack speed makes the Golem a much bigger threat in fights and against buildings. This plan works because both heroes want to control teamfights. Warlock sets up big area-of-effect spells like Upheaval and Fatal Bonds, and Ogre Magi is tanky enough to stand in the middle of it all, stunning key targets and reapplying his own slows. Warlock can use Shadow Word to keep Ogre healthy on the front line, while Ogre's disables help ensure enemies stay stuck in Upheaval, slowly burning down.
