Omniknight + Venomancer

Why this works

Trying to save a teammate from slow poison reveals the core problem here. Omniknight excels at reacting to and negating huge bursts of physical damage with Guardian Angel or purging a key stun with Heavenly Grace. He’s built to counter focused aggression on a single ally. Venomancer, however, deals widespread magical damage over time. His poison ticks away at the entire enemy team, and Omniknight’s saves are poorly equipped to handle that kind of slow, area-wide pressure. Guardian Angel provides no protection from Poison Nova.

This disconnect forces the team into awkward fights. The duo can't set up a quick kill, as Venomancer’s damage takes time to ramp up, and they struggle in long engagements because Omniknight contributes little offensively to complement the poison. Enemy teams can often pick their battles, focusing a target with magic damage that Guardian Angel can't block, or simply walking away and healing through the damage over time. The Omniknight and Venomancer side is left with a defensive kit that doesn't counter the primary damage type of its own offensive core.
