Pangolier + Silencer

Why this works

Setting up a big teamfight, Global Silence gives Pangolier a clean window to start his Rolling Thunder without interruption. That initial combination is the strongest part of this pairing. The trouble starts right after. Pangolier wants to crash through the enemy team, knocking heroes around and creating chaos. Silencer, however, wants enemies to stay in one place so he can punish them with Arcane Curse and consistently land his Glaives of Wisdom. A successful Rolling Thunder often scatters the enemy team, which can make it harder for Silencer to apply his own damage and control effectively.

The outcome of a fight often hinges entirely on that initial combo. If the enemy team dies during Global Silence while being stunned by Pangolier, the pairing looks great. If the fight extends, their game plans can work against each other. Pangolier will be disrupting formations and trying to survive deep in the fight, while Silencer is trying to maintain his position and hit targets from the back line. A target Silencer is focusing can suddenly be knocked away by his own ally, making it hard to secure kills without perfect coordination on who to hit and when.
