Pangolier + Terrorblade

Why this works

Fighting with an active Metamorphosis often means Terrorblade wants to stand his ground and attack a high-value target. When Pangolier is on his team, this can get complicated. Pangolier’s strength is creating chaos and disrupting formations, especially with Rolling Thunder. The problem is that this chaos frequently knocks enemies away or scatters them, making it difficult for Terrorblade to consistently attack a single hero. While the stun from the roll is helpful, the constant repositioning can be counterproductive for a carry who excels at bringing down a focused target from range.

This disconnect means their timings don't always align well in practice. Pangolier will create an opening, but it's not the clean, reliable lockdown that allows Terrorblade to maximize his damage window. A good Pangolier will try to roll enemies into his carry, but it's an imprecise art. More often, the two heroes end up fighting near each other rather than with each other. They don’t actively hinder one another, but the lack of direct setup means they don't amplify their combined potential as much as other hero pairings might.
