Pangolier + Viper

Why this works

Picking both of these cores on the same team often creates a problem before the horn even sounds. Both Pangolier and Viper can demand significant farm and map space, but their kits actively work against each other. Viper excels at locking down a single area with Nethertoxin, creating a "stand and fight" zone for his team. Pangolier is the opposite; he wants to create chaos and be constantly moving, using Swashbuckle to reposition and Rolling Thunder to disrupt multiple enemies. Viper’s slows aren't especially helpful for a hero who is already slippery and difficult to catch.

This clash in styles becomes obvious in teamfights. Viper might use Viper Strike to pin down a priority target, expecting his team to focus it down inside his poison. At the same moment, Pangolier's ideal play is to roll through the entire enemy lineup, scattering them. This often results in Pangolier knocking Viper’s target to safety, or it forces Viper to fight alone while Pangolier zips around the edges. Their primary cooldowns don't combine well, leading to uncoordinated engagements and wasted potential.
