Pangolier + Windranger

Why this works

Trying to burst down a key target often feels clumsy with this pair. Pangolier’s entire game plan with Rolling Thunder is to crash in and disrupt enemy positioning, knocking people around. This is directly opposed to what Windranger needs. She wants a target held still for a clean Shackleshot or to unload Focus Fire without the enemy being bounced out of her attack range. Pangolier creates chaos, which is great, but it's the wrong kind of chaos for a hero who relies on landing precise, single-target spells. The setup from one hero actively ruins the follow-up from the other.

This conflict means their ganks and teamfight initiations are unreliable from the start. Instead of building a strong early tempo with pickoffs, they often step on each other’s toes. The Windranger player is left chasing a target that Pangolier effectively saved by rolling it away, while the Pango is wondering why the target didn't die. They are often forced to play separately or hope the enemy team makes a huge positioning mistake, as they lack a simple, shared way to lock one hero down and finish the job.
