Phoenix + Snapfire

Why this works

Trying to teamfight against this lane duo can feel like a trap. If your team groups up to focus a target, Phoenix can use that to land a big Supernova. This sets up Snapfire to unload a full Mortimer Kisses from the backline while everyone is stunned. Even if you survive the initial stun, the slows from the globs make it incredibly difficult to either escape the egg's final radius or get enough attacks in to destroy it. A well-timed Firesnap Cookie can also give Phoenix a better angle for the initial dive or a way to reposition for the perfect egg.

The synergy really comes online during mid-game objective fights. A successful Supernova from Phoenix can control the entire enemy team, but it relies on Snapfire being in position to follow up with her own ultimate for the damage. The combo isn't foolproof; the enemy team will try to save a high-attack-speed hero to focus the egg down, or they'll simply spread out to minimize the impact. This puts pressure on Phoenix and Snapfire to pick their moment, as a poorly timed egg can lose the fight on its own.
