Primal Beast + Snapfire

Why this works

Getting jumped by a flying Primal Beast is a nasty surprise. Snapfire's Firesnap Cookie can launch him right into the middle of a fight, providing a stun and an instant gap-close for him to start Trampling. The idea is to create chaos that Snapfire can follow up on with Mortimer Kisses from long range. The issue is that Primal Beast already has a powerful charge with Onslaught, so the Cookie often feels a bit redundant rather than enabling. His Pulverize ultimate also focuses on a single target, which can be an awkward setup for Snapfire's large area-of-effect ultimate.

Early ganks can work out if an enemy is caught out, letting Primal Beast secure a kill he might not have reached otherwise. As teams start grouping up, however, the combo's effectiveness flattens out. Smart opponents will spread to minimize the Cookie's impact stun, forcing a tougher initiation. Primal Beast often gets more value from initiating on his own terms with Onslaught, which lets him pick a better angle and target. This can leave Snapfire using her Cookie for escapes or on another ally, making their specific pairing feel less like a dedicated plan.
