Primal Beast + Weaver

Why this works

Holding a target with Pulverize creates a window for high burst damage, which is something Weaver fundamentally lacks. His damage comes from consistent right-clicks, not from a single, heavy-hitting spell combination. When Primal Beast lands a perfect initiation and locks down a key enemy hero, Weaver's contribution is simply too slow to ramp up. The ideal partner provides immediate, overwhelming damage to delete the target during the stun. Weaver chips away, often allowing the enemy to survive the initial lockdown and turn the fight around once they are free.

This basic conflict extends to their overall game plan. Primal Beast wants to brawl and force fights with his team, using his durability to create space and set up kills. Weaver, on the other hand, is a slippery hero who prefers to skirmish on the edges of fights, split-push, and clean up after the initial chaos. The result is often a Primal Beast initiating without the follow-up damage he needs, or a Weaver who can't safely commit to a teamfight because the enemy isn't being controlled effectively. They operate on different tempos and rarely enable each other's core strengths.
