How Puck and Queen of Pain perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Puck and Queen of Pain win 42.37% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 3,880 matches.
Struggling for farm and map space is common when running Puck and Queen of Pain together. Both heroes are greedy, mobile magic dealers who want to hit the same item timings and play in the same areas. This creates a resource bottleneck and makes the draft predictable. A single Pipe of Insight or a couple of early BKBs can neutralize most of the team's damage. Their kits don't offer much unique synergy either. Queen of Pain wants to execute a target instantly, while Puck's Dream Coil is better for controlling multiple heroes over a longer, drawn-out teamfight. They end up competing for roles, not complementing each other.
How this pairing performs across skill brackets — the duo's team win rate in recent ranked matches, split by average match rank. Ranks with too few recent matches are omitted. These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
