Puck + Wraith King

Why this works

Expecting Puck to perfectly set up for Wraith King is a common mistake. Their timings are usually off. Puck wants to use Dream Coil and Waning Rift to enable a massive, coordinated burst of magic damage from the team. Wraith King, however, brings a single-target stun and then needs time to walk up and land his physical attacks. He grinds fights down with his second life from Reincarnation; he isn't the explosive follow-up that a control hero like Puck wants to enable. They can exist in the same fight, but their core functions don't directly amplify each other.

As a result, they tend to play their own separate games within a teamfight. Puck stays on the edges, looking for a catch on a support or trying to control multiple enemies. Meanwhile, Wraith King is already committed, marching at whatever core is in front of him. A kill might happen when Puck coils the target Wraith King was already hitting, but it’s more of an accident than a plan. They don't create a unique problem for the enemy team; they just present two individual threats that need to be dealt with separately.
