How Puck and Slark perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Puck and Slark win 46.08% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 14,091 matches.
Picking both Puck and Slark for your core roles often creates a confused and difficult game plan. Puck excels at setting up large-scale fights, looking to catch multiple heroes in a Dream Coil to control the battlefield. Slark, however, doesn't really capitalize on that kind of setup. He's a hunter, built to isolate and eliminate a single target to build Essence Shift stacks. When Puck lands a big ultimate, Slark is often still only able to focus on one enemy, wasting the wider control. This fundamental clash in how they want to play the map means they rarely work in concert, failing to combine their strengths effectively.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
