Puck + Snapfire

Why this works

Setting up Mortimer Kisses with a Dream Coil seems like a natural fit, but the execution can be clumsy. Puck wants to create chaos, forcing enemies into difficult decisions about whether to break the leash. Snapfire, on the other hand, needs targets to stay in a predictable area to land multiple ultimate globs. Puck's entire kit is about rapid movement and repositioning, which can sometimes pull the fight in a direction that Snapfire isn't prepared for, leaving her aiming at empty ground after the initial setup. The control Puck provides is often too brief or chaotic for a long channel.

This means that while the duo can secure kills on isolated targets, their teamfight impact isn't always additive. In a hectic fight, Puck may need to use Phase Shift or Illusory Orb for survival right when Snapfire needs the targets locked down. The combo relies on the enemy team panicking poorly, rather than on the heroes' abilities creating a guaranteed lockdown. Instead of a clean one-two punch, it can feel like two separate plans happening at the same time, which may not be enough to turn a critical fight.
