Puck + Ursa

Why this works

Facing this duo often feels manageable. Ursa needs targets held down to build up his physical damage, but Puck's abilities are more about slippery disruption than hard lockdown. A Dream Coil can trap an enemy, but it doesn't prevent them from fighting back or simply waiting for help inside the leash. The silence from Waning Rift is good for opening a fight, but it doesn't stop a hero from walking away once it fades. Puck brings a lot of magic damage and chaos, but lacks the reliable, single-target stun that truly enables Ursa to secure a kill on his own terms.

Throughout the game, this lack of direct setup becomes a problem. Puck wants to poke and control space from the edges of a fight, while Ursa has to commit fully to a target in the center. An enemy caught in Dream Coil is often still safe if their teammates can body block or kite the Ursa. This forces the two cores to operate on separate tracks; the enemy team can often deal with Ursa's physical threat and Puck's magical burst as two different problems, rather than one combined one. They don't create opportunities for each other effectively.
