Why this works

Putting two slippery, damage-focused cores on one team creates a structural problem. Both Puck and Weaver want to play on the edge of the fight, using their mobility to avoid being targeted while they chip away at enemies. Neither offers the reliable, hard lockdown needed to hold an opponent in place. Puck's Dream Coil is great for punishing movement, but it doesn't stop an enemy from turning and fighting back. This leaves both fragile heroes vulnerable if they commit to a kill, as they lack a sturdy frontline or a true stun to create a safe window.

This draft often feels like it's missing an anchor. In teamfights, Puck and Weaver are frequently forced to play reactively, using Phase Shift and Time Lapse early to survive. This can leave your team without its main damage dealers for critical moments. Opponents with strong initiation can often run directly at your backline, knowing that neither core can truly stand their ground. The composition ends up being too greedy and is easily broken by coordinated aggression, forcing a game where your cores are always escaping instead of fighting.
