How Pudge and Silencer perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Pudge and Silencer win 53.78% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 100,751 matches.
Setting up a Meat Hook is much simpler when the target can't cast spells to escape. Silencer's Last Word or a well-timed Global Silence takes away the Blink Daggers and mobility spells that make landing a hook so tricky. Once Pudge gets a hero with Dismember, Silencer can freely apply Arcane Curse and Glaives of Wisdom for a huge amount of follow-up damage. This pickoff potential is potent all game, allowing the pair to find kills and create pressure across the map. In teamfights, Global Silence provides the perfect opening for Pudge to pull a high-priority core out of position and start the fight with an advantage.
