Clockwerk + Snapfire

Why this works

Seeing these two heroes on a team brings to mind one big combo. Clockwerk uses Hookshot to isolate an enemy inside Power Cogs, creating what should be a perfect target for a full Mortimer Kisses from Snapfire. The reality is often less clean. The cogs themselves can get in the way, blocking Snapfire's projectiles if her angle isn't right. The trapped hero can still be force staffed out, and the whole setup demands a level of coordination that can be difficult to execute on the fly. The initial stun and trap are helpful, but the follow-up isn't guaranteed.

The duo's main strength is securing pickoffs before major teamfights. A successful Hookshot into Cogs and Kisses will usually delete a lone hero. As the game goes on, however, opponents adapt. They buy Force Staffs and Glimmer Capes, or simply stick together, making the single-target isolation play much harder to pull off. In full-scale brawls, Clockwerk and Snapfire can even find themselves at odds; he wants to be deep in the chaos causing disruption, while she needs to find a safe, stationary spot to channel her ultimate, and these two goals don't always line up.
