Riki + Snapfire

Why this works

Trying to survive a gank from this pair is a nightmare. Snapfire's Firesnap Cookie provides the perfect setup, stunning a target long enough for Riki to close the distance and drop a Smoke Screen directly on top of them. Once they're silenced and slowed inside the cloud, Snapfire can easily land multiple hits from Mortimer Kisses from a safe distance. The enemy is trapped in a layered kill zone, unable to cast spells to escape while Riki gets free hits and the ultimate rains down. This combination reliably deletes a single target before a fight even begins.

This pressure starts early and defines the mid-game. The enemy team is forced to play separated and with vision, but even sentries don't help when the stun from Snapfire can initiate the fight from the fog. An opponent's best hope is to burst Snapfire before she can act, or to have enough saves to pull her stunned ally out of the Smoke Screen. For her part, Snapfire can also use her cookie defensively to launch Riki to safety, making an already slippery hero even harder to pin down and kill.
