How Sand King and Vengeful Spirit perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Sand King and Vengeful Spirit win 52.84% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 17,724 matches.
Deciding on a support to pair with Sand King often means choosing between offensive setup or a defensive save. Vengeful Spirit offers a bit of both. A well-timed Magic Missile can guarantee a Burrowstrike lands, while Nether Swap is a classic way to pull an enemy into a hidden, channeling Epicenter. The real strength, though, is using that same Swap to rescue Sand King after he's committed. Getting him out of trouble after his spells are on cooldown addresses a common weakness for him. Vengeance Aura is also a nice bonus, making his right-clicks more relevant throughout the game.
