Silencer + Treant Protector

Why this works

Setting up a teamfight with Overgrowth gives Silencer a perfect window to apply his damage and curses to rooted targets. Following that up with Global Silence creates an extended lockdown where enemies can't use spells or items to escape the initial setup. This allows your team to focus down key targets who are left completely helpless for a significant duration. The core of the pairing is landing this ultimate combination back-to-back. Beyond that big teamfight moment, however, their abilities don't offer much direct interaction.

This combo mostly defines the mid-game plan. Treant Protector will look for an opening from invisibility while the team positions for an objective. The goal for the enemy is to avoid grouping up, spread out on the map, and try to catch either Treant or Silencer before they can execute their plan. Because their laning phases and general map movements can be quite different, success relies heavily on coordinating for these specific teamfight timings. If the combo fails to connect or the enemy plays around it effectively, the synergy offers very little else to fall back on.
