Silencer + Ursa

Why this works

The idea that Global Silence provides a free kill for Ursa is often better on paper. While silencing the map is a strong way to start a gank, Silencer offers very little follow-up control. He has no hard stun to hold a target in place after the global effect wears off. This leaves Ursa chasing an opponent who can use items or simply create distance once they are able to act. Ursa needs targets pinned down to build Fury Swipes stacks, and Silencer’s kit doesn't provide the reliable lockdown he wants from a partner.

This dynamic means the pair can struggle to secure kills against mobile heroes. Ursa wants to constantly look for fights with Overpower, but his kill potential can become too dependent on Silencer having his ultimate ready. When Global Silence is down, Silencer doesn't bring the lockdown needed to help Ursa stick to a target. The two heroes can end up operating on different timers, leading to a disjointed mid-game where Ursa is ready to fight but his partner can't offer the right kind of setup.
