Silencer + Weaver

Why this works

Setting up Weaver with a Global Silence sounds good on paper, but the plan often falls apart. Silencer stops enemies from casting spells, but he doesn't stop them from walking away or right-clicking back. A hero caught by the ultimate can frequently survive Weaver's initial burst by repositioning toward safety. Weaver is a fragile hero who needs a target held in place to unload his full damage potential, and Silencer's kit simply doesn't offer that kind of hard lockdown. His other spells are more suited for drawn-out fights, which is the opposite of how Weaver wants to play.

This leaves their game plan feeling disjointed. The duo is heavily reliant on a single long-cooldown ultimate to make plays together. In the downtime between Global Silences, they have very little natural setup for kills. An enemy team can play around that one threat, leaving Weaver unable to find the aggressive pickoffs he needs to snowball. He really prefers a partner with a simple stun to enable Shukuchi aggression, and without that, this lane’s offensive potential feels limited and predictable.
