Why this works

Sven benefits immensely from Wraith King’s Vampiric Spirit, turning the massive damage from God's Strength into a huge source of survivability without needing a dedicated item slot for lifesteal. In return, Sven's Warcry provides armor and movement speed that helps Wraith King and his skeletons stick to targets and survive focus fire. The combination of two reliable stuns also makes it very difficult for any single target to escape once they're caught by this pair.

This duo presents a huge problem for the enemy team in fights. They have to decide which massive strength hero to try and burst down first. Focusing Sven means letting Wraith King and his army attack freely, but trying to kill Wraith King means chewing through two life bars while a God's Strength-empowered Sven is cleaving through your back lines. This pressure makes it easy for the pair to control the map, forcing enemies into unfavorable fights or giving up objectives like towers and Roshan.
