Why this works

Getting caught by this duo often feels like a death sentence. Snapfire can launch Slardar directly on top of a priority target with Firesnap Cookie, guaranteeing a follow-up Slithereen Crush. Once the stuns land, the target melts. Slardar's Corrosive Haze stacks with the armor reduction from Snapfire's Lil' Shredder, making even the most durable heroes vulnerable to physical attacks from your whole team. The layered stuns and slows make it very difficult for anyone to get away once the initiation is successful.

This partnership comes online early and is great for roaming the map to find kills. Slardar marks a hero, and Snapfire provides the extra mobility needed to close the gap and secure the takedown. The plan is effective but also predictable. An enemy team with good vision and instant saves, like a Glimmer Cape or a well-timed stun of their own, can often see the play coming and react in time. If the initial jump fails to connect, both heroes can be left out of position, which prevents this from being a completely one-sided pairing.
