Why this works

Applying Corrosive Haze to a target can make them much softer for Sven's physical attacks under God's Strength. This gives the pair a simple, effective way to focus down a priority hero, especially one who relies on high armor to survive. Slardar’s initial stun from Slithereen Crush also helps guarantee that Sven can get in range and start hitting the debuffed enemy. The armor reduction from Haze means Sven's damage stays relevant even as opponents build items to counter him, creating a consistent threat.

The general game plan involves Slardar finding an initiation with Blink Dagger and successfully casting his ultimate on a key enemy. Sven’s job is to follow that lead immediately. However, the plan can fall apart if the two can't coordinate their timing. Both heroes are melee and susceptible to being kited or separated by stuns and forced movement. An enemy team with good positioning and save items like a Ghost Scepter can often survive the initial burst, leaving Slardar and Sven out of position and vulnerable. This makes their execution important.
